Why we’re building it

Most small firms have a good website that was built once and then left alone. Whether it shows up on Google depends on dozens of small details: page titles, broken links, whether Google can see the pages at all. Checking them isn’t anyone’s job.

The usual answers don’t fit. Agencies cost hundreds of pounds a month, and their reports are full of jargon. Doing it yourself means learning a whole new field. We think you should be able to see what’s wrong in plain English, approve the fix, and get back to running your business.

How we work

• You approve every change. Nothing changes on your site until you say yes.
• Changes are made in your website itself, so they stay yours if you ever leave.
• We improve the pages you already have, and add a page only for a service you sell and have no page for, written from your own answers. We never write blog posts for you or churn out pages to game Google.
• We never promise a place on Google. We show why others come up above you, and how long each search is likely to take.
• We only read your public pages, plus your Google data if you choose to connect it, view-only.
• Each month we’ll show what every change achieved. And there’s a six-month guarantee.

Findwick is made by Solid Computing Ltd, a UK software company. Our team of engineers has more than 20 years’ experience of building software for businesses. We’re starting with our first 20 customers, so we can get it right before we grow.
