How it works

Your place on Google, checked every week and looked after.

We do the work, and nothing changes without your yes. Here’s how it starts, and what your first month looks like.

Your first monthExample
  1. Day 1You give us accessAbout 10 minutes, once. We walk you through it, and you can remove it any time.
  2. Week 1The quick fixesThe fixes your free check found, such as titles and broken links. You say yes; we make them and check they’re live. If your check found little wrong, we start on your page for your main search instead.
  3. Week 2Your main pageFive questions about what you do, answered in your own words. Any technical jobs go as exact steps to whoever looks after your website.
  4. Week 3The page rewritten, your Google listing checkedYour page rewritten from your answers, for your yes. Your listing’s hours, services and photos checked, and a review link with wording you can send.
  5. Week 4Your first monthly noteWhere you started, so every month after can show what changed. Then the next page, and the next search.

After that: a note every other Monday and a weekly eye on the firms around you. Each month, a page for a service you sell that has no page yet, your reviews kept coming in, and your monthly note against last year.

1. Free check

Type your website address. We read your public pages the way Google does, show what’s holding the site back, and show who comes up above you on Google for the searches your customers make. In plain English, with no sign-up.

2. Give us access, once

So we can make the changes for you, we ask for three things:

  • An editor login to your website. Never full control.
  • Manager access to your Google listing.
  • View-only access to Google’s free website dashboard.

You add us as a user, so we never need your own passwords, and you can remove us any time. It takes about 10 minutes, once, and we walk you through it. Without it, the plan works the same way, but we send you the steps instead, with each note.

3. Then, four things, all year round

  • Watch. Every week we re-check your website and the searches your customers make, and catch what broke and who came up above you. If something breaks that costs you customers, we tell you that week.
  • Fix. Broken links, page titles, descriptions, headings and picture descriptions. We write the change and you say yes. With your access, we make it in your website without waiting for your next note.
  • Grow. Your main pages rewritten from your own answers, a page for each service you sell, your Google listing kept right, and a steady flow of reviews.
  • Report. A short note every other Monday, and every Monday in your first month: what we did, what moved and what’s next. Once a month, how many people saw you and got in touch, against last year.

Nothing changes until you say yes, every change comes with the exact old and new wording, and the old version can always go back.

What we don’t promise

A place on Google. Nobody can honestly promise one. What we promise is the work, a picture of where you stand every other Monday, and a plain answer to how long each search is likely to take. Some are within reach in a few weeks; others take months, and reviews and links as well as a better page.

What we do, and what we guide you through

What we do for you

With your yes, and the access you give us.

  • Fix page titles, descriptions, headings, picture descriptions and broken links.
  • Rewrite your main pages from your own answers, for your yes.
  • Write a page for each service you sell that has no page yet, one at a time.
  • Keep your Google listing right: opening hours, services, photos and description.
  • Re-check your website and your searches every week, and write your Monday and monthly notes.

What we guide you through

We prepare everything, and remind you.

  • Technical jobs, such as your website’s address, speed or code: exact steps for whoever looks after your website.
  • Asking your customers for reviews: your review link, the wording to send, and a monthly reminder.
  • Listings on the other websites your customers use, with the details to copy.
  • Anything you’d rather we didn’t touch: the same exact steps, for you or whoever looks after your website.

What we did

  • We did thisGave your Services page a clearer title that says what you do and where. Live since Wednesday.
  • We did thisFixed 2 broken links on your Contact page.
  • We sent the stepsYour website opens at two addresses, with and without “www”. Whoever looks after it has the exact steps.

What we caught

A firm near you now comes up above you on Google Maps for your main search. They have 41 reviews; you have 12.

What moved

It’s early. Google usually takes a few weeks to notice a change, so your monthly note compares with last year, not last week.

What’s next

  • For your yesYour Home page, rewritten from the five answers you sent.
  • Your partAsk two happy customers for a review. We’ve written the message, with your review link in it.

How it all connects

What we read, what you decide, and where the changes are made.
